Dymo label printers use a process called thermal printing. Dymo LabelWriter® printers use a thermal print head and chemically treated labels or paper. The printer sends a current of electricity to the thermal print head, which generates heat on specific areas of the print head. The heat then activates the heat-sensitive dye in the paper or labels, which changes colors when heated and gives you your imprint. The greatest benefit of direct thermal printing with a Dymo label printer is that there is no need for ink, toner or ribbons.

Dymo® calls the LabelWriter® 450 Duo their most versatile printer. This labeler can hold 2 label rolls at once for even greater efficiency. The LabelWriter® 450 Duo has a max print width of 2”.
The LabelWriter® 450 Twin Turbo prints paper and plastic labels: the top portion uses white paper label rolls; bottom uses permanent D1 label tape cartridges. Includes stamps and 3⁄4" black on white D1 label cartridge.
The LabelWriter® Wireless is cable-free, making it very convenient. The LabelWriter® Wireless print labels directly from Macs, PCs, smartphones and tablets using the built-in Wi-Fi®. You can also add the DYMO LabelWriter Wireless to a network for easy sharing with others. The LabelWriter® Wireless has a max print width of 2”.
